Innovasea NexTrak AR Receiver
Next-generation 69kHz receiver, now with acoustic release technology
Hot on the heels of R1, Innovasea’s NexTrak receiver line now offers acoustic release (AR). This is just the latest feature for the world’s most advanced acoustic telemetry system.
Key Features
• 40% greater range detection
• Twice as many detections due to NexTrak AR’s advanced processor filtering out noise and decoding pings from transmitters
• Improved reliability in challenging and noisy environments
• Higher quality data due to signal strength and enhanced post-processing capabilities
• Highly accurate battery life indicator assists retrieval timing
Even in the most extreme marine environments, researchers can now capture more data thanks to the breakthrough capabilities of NexTrak. With new acoustic release capabilities, NexTrak AR allows for diver-free retrieval, making it safer and more cost-effective to recover your receiver even in the most difficult or dangerous waters.
As part of the NexTrak line, the AR model’s new processor is a powerhouse, capable of detecting and decoding even more pings with up to 40% more range than previous receivers.
Compatibility
• All Innovasea coded 69kHz transmitters and sensor tags
• Fathom Software for easy data offload and analysis
• VR100-300 Deckbox and VHTx-69kHz Transponding Hydrophone for remote release and communication with deployed units
• Increased Residency (IR) Coding: tag firmware upgrade increases residency and detections in NexTrak arrays
• Acoustic Release Canister (ARC) to enable easy recovery of all mooring infrastructure
