The Ascent has been designed specifically with shallow water (< 500 m) work in mind, and benefits from Innovasea’s sophisticated acoustic telemetry transmission protocol, developed through 35 years of underwater communications. The coded communication protocol allows a large amount of information to be transmitted to the surface deck box if required e.g. unit health, tilt, depth, temperature, range, remaining battery life, and release status (armed, activating etc). The transmission protocol eliminates false triggers, ensuring your asset stays submerged for the duration of the deployment.
