We help navies, coastguards and maritime-security teams gather the data they need to stay safe and informed. Our uncrewed surface vessels, autonomous underwater vehicles and high‑performance cameras provide persistent undersea surveillance, helping you protect critical infrastructure, ports and borders. Whether you’re monitoring a harbour, tracking a submarine or inspecting an offshore asset, we deliver reliable data and reduce risk.

Autonomous & Uncrewed Platforms
We supply a range of platforms, from wave‑powered USVs to compact micro‑AUVs and gliders. Uncrewed surface vessels integrate passive acoustic sensors and patrol for days or weeks to detect and track undersea contacts. Autonomous underwater vehicles operate without a tether and carry cameras, sonar and environmental sensors; they follow precise survey patterns and store data until recovery. Gliders travel long distances by changing buoyancy and carry sensors to monitor temperature, salinity, currents and biological activity. For tasks requiring real‑time control, we also offer remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
Underwater acoustics and noise recording
Understanding the underwater environment often starts with listening. Our passive acoustic monitoring portfolio includes Orca and Porpoise recorders and the YUCO‑PAM micro‑AUV, which combines an AUV with a Porpoise recorder for continuous surveys. We also offer towed and deployable sonar arrays; Ultra Maritime’s deployable arrays are clandestine and autonomous, providing long‑duration monitoring in shallow and deep waters and delivering processed acoustic data back to operators. These systems support anti‑submarine warfare (ASW), maritime security and critical infrastructure protection.
Cameras and Imaging Systems
Clear visuals are essential for inspection and identification. Our subsea cameras use sensitive CMOS sensors that capture detailed images even in near‑darkness and can provide real‑time HD or 4K video. When visibility is poor, multibeam and side‑scan sonar map the seabed by measuring return times of sound pulses. 3D laser scanners create precise models of pipelines, cables and hulls for maintenance and digital‑twin applications.
FAQ
Which platform is best for my mission?
Uncrewed surface vessels excel at long patrols and acoustic surveillance. Autonomous underwater vehicles are ideal for detailed surveys and route inspections, while gliders offer low‑power, long‑range environmental monitoring. For intervention or repair tasks, a tethered ROV gives you real‑time control.
Do you offer integrated acoustic monitoring?
Yes. Our portfolio includes Orca and Porpoise recorders for fixed installations and the YUCO‑PAM micro‑AUV for mobile surveys. We also supply deployable sonar arrays that provide covert, long‑duration monitoring.
How can I retrieve seabed instruments?
Our ARC acoustic‑release canister attaches to your receiver, recorder or sensor. At the end of a deployment, send an acoustic command and the ARC will release and float to the surface with your equipment, eliminating the need for divers.
What support do you provide?
We offer advice on product selection, integration and deployment, plus training, servicing and post‑deployment data support. Our team ensures you get the most from your investment.
