Relay connects monitoring platforms with equipment already operating on your site, allowing environmental events to automatically trigger pumps, compressors, aerators and other electrical systems.

Designed for aquaculture, Relay removes the need for manual intervention by turning real-time environmental data into instant actions. Whether dissolved oxygen levels fall or another threshold is reached, Relay sends a secure command to a SIM-based switch, helping your site respond faster when it matters most.

Key features

  • SIM-based remote switching
  • Automation triggered by environmental thresholds
  • Remote alerts and relay state reporting
  • Supports pumps, compressors, samplers and oxygen systems
  • Custom integrations available for additional monitoring platforms and equipment

How does Relay work?

The idea is simple. When an environmental threshold is reached using a platform such as Innovasea Realfish Pro, Relay sends a command to a SIM-based switch.

Developed in response to customer feedback, Relay integrates with existing technology to automatically activate aeration within fish pens, helping maintain optimal dissolved oxygen levels. By responding as conditions change, it reduces fish stress, supports healthy feeding behaviour and improves feed conversion efficiency.

From there, operators can remotely activate, pause and monitor pumps, compressors, samplers and other connected equipment.

Typical use cases for Relay

  • Aquaculture aeration and oxygen management
  • Automatic pump and compressor control
  • Remote activation of sampling equipment
  • Environmental monitoring response workflows
  • GroAqua oxygen system control
  • Reducing unnecessary equipment run time
  • Custom switching solutions for site-specific equipment
