The Acoustic Release Canister (ARC) has rightfully earned its spot as a firm favourite for our scientific researcher customers and over time, we’ve always hoped to develop the product even further.

So that’s exactly what we’ve done.

Introducing, the ARC Lite, a slimmer take on our hero product, built with the same quality and design which awarded its reliability at the start of our journey with the original ARC.

Using two standard 11″ trawl floats instead of three, our ARC Lite retrieval system is designed primarily for use with Innovasea’s VR2AR and NexTrak fish tracking acoustic release (AR) receivers, as well as the Ascent AR.

Key features

  • Compact form factor
  • Compatible with world-leading Innovasea Acoustic Release
  • Allows simple recovery of seabed mooring
  • Buoyancy: 2 x 11″ trawl floats; widely available off the shelf
  • Three sizes available: ARC Lite 150, ARC Lite 300 and ARC Lite 450

More on the ARC Lite

ARC Lite was developed alongside our underwater listening deployments for Project MARLIN.

Originally developed for our underwater listening deployments in Project MARLIN, ARC Lite carries that mission forward by giving our customers the tools they need.

ARC Lite is now available to purchase, if you’re interested in finding out more, please send your enquiry to info@rsaqua.co.uk.
