RS Aqua partners with Sonardyne
Specialising in the Energy, Defence and Science sectors of marine technology, Sonardyne International had recently introduced their latest water current and sound measurement tool; the Origin Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs). RS Aqua are the first official reseller in the UK for the new Origin 600 and Origin 65 ADCP models.
About Sonardyne Origin ADCP
The Origin 600 boasts new features that set higher standards for intelligent ADCP data. It is the first device of its kind that includes an integrated acoustic modem and advanced onboard Edge processing, which provides remote access to all core features and real-time high-quality, intelligent data. It also delivers new and exclusive high fidelity data formats. Its ability to link with other external sensors enables users to maximise the data produced from a single device deployment.
Michelle Barnett, Ocean Science Business Development Manager at Sonardyne, said, “The launch of the Origin 600 represents a significant advancement in ADCP technology, providing users with higher-quality functionality and data compared to the current industry standard.” She added, “We are pleased to welcome RS Aqua as the first UK reseller of Origin 600, and we are confident that this product will benefit their customers and business portfolio for many years to come.”
Our thoughts on the partnership…
“We are thrilled to have established a partnership with Sonardyne, one of the most respected engineering businesses in the industry. RS Aqua can now offer our clients access to the latest Origin ADCP technology, which we have carefully selected to be part of our product portfolio.” Said Martin Stemp, Managing Director at RS Aqua.
Martin further explains, “The Origin technologies are not only extremely high performing ADCPs, but they are also a central control and communication hub for subsea observatories, enabling two-way communication and configuration of instrumentation when deployed. We can’t wait to get these systems in the hands of our clients.”
